Craig & Shaun McAnuff
Original Flava
Brothers Craig and Shaun McAnuff are the duo behind Original Flava, a celebration of Jamaican food, family and culture that has grown from an online platform into cookbooks, collaborations and a global community.
From South London to the Caribbean Kitchen
Brothers Craig and Shaun McAnuff grew up in South London surrounded by the flavours of their Jamaican heritage, learning to cook from their grandmother and mother and carrying those traditions into their own kitchens.
What began as a way of sharing the food they loved became Original Flava — a celebration of Caribbean cooking that has grown from online recipes and videos into bestselling cookbooks, television appearances and a community of people discovering the richness of Caribbean food.
Their approach feels both familiar and fresh: rooted in tradition, family and culture, while showing how Caribbean food continues to evolve across generations and beyond the islands.
It is exactly this connection between food, memory and culture that makes Craig and Shaun a natural first feature for The Caribbean Creators.
Original Flava: Caribbean Recipes from Home
A celebration of Caribbean food, family and flavour, Original Flava: Caribbean Recipes from Home brings together recipes inspired by Craig and Shaun’s Jamaican heritage and the food they grew up with.
From comforting classics to everyday favourites, it’s an introduction to Caribbean cooking through the recipes and stories of the brothers behind Original Flava.
A Caribbean Collaboration
Craig and Shaun’s partnership with Tilda brought their Jamaican heritage to a familiar kitchen staple, creating a limited-edition Jamaican Spiced Pumpkin Rice inspired by the flavours they grew up with.
It’s a brilliant example of Caribbean creativity reaching new audiences — taking familiar flavours, stories and traditions into the everyday.
