Founded by illustrator Cherelle Brown, KitsCH Noir is an award-winning British stationery and lifestyle brand created to bring greater representation to the everyday.

Through cards, stationery and gifts filled with personality, humour and joy, Cherelle celebrates Black and brown people in the moments that make up real life — from birthdays and relationships to family, friendship and self-affirmation.

Representation in the Everyday

KitsCH Noir was born from Cherelle Brown’s frustration at rarely seeing cards that reflected herself, her family and her community. What began as a search for more representative greetings grew into a brand built around making Black and brown people visible in the everyday moments that matter.

Drawing on the love, joy and humour of the Black British experience, Cherelle creates designs that feel both personal and familiar — celebrating relationships, family, friendship and the cultural references that can make a card feel like it was actually made with you in mind.

With her Grenadian heritage forming part of the cultural story behind her work, that sense of identity and recognition makes KitsCH Noir a natural fit for The Caribbean Creators — creativity rooted in culture, community and the joy of seeing yourself represented.
